The Difference

When the left said it was irresponsible to cut taxes at a time of two wars, the right wingers said we wanted America to fail.

When the left questioned the run up to the Iraq war and the evidence of WMD, the right wingers said we wanted America to fail.

When the left spoke out against torture, the right wingers said we wanted to give aid and comfort to the enemy and we wanted America to fail.

When leaders on the left said the American economy was on shaky ground, the right wingers told us the fundamentals of the economy were strong and we wanted America to fail.


The left was proven right in every single instance and in point of fact we wanted America to succeed and we knew the path we were on would preclude us from doing so. Nobody on the left every said they wanted America fail thats just the translation that right wingers made to any criticism of Bush.

Now Rush Limbaugh says he wants everything President Obama to do to fail. That means he wants the economy to crater, he wants people to continue to lose their jobs, health insurance, and homes. And he wants America to fall further behind in the global economy to our competitors. Yet somehow in the minds of right wingers this is analagous to what the left did with Bush.

Here is the difference dumbasses. The left complained about President Bush because we wanted the country to be better off so we could all have better lives. Rush Limbaugh complains about President Obama because he wants the country to fail so that Republicans can get back into office. So as you cheer on this multimillionaire buffoon just realize that if losing YOUR job or losing YOUR house will help reinstate a Republican majority he is all for it. To put it simply Rush is not your friend.
