Michael Steele Vs Sarah Palin

So now comes word that Michael Steele is shutting down his national media gaffe tour after coming under intense criticism from elements of his own party. Well that kinda reminded me of some things that Steele and other conservative talking head said about Sarah Palin during the campaign last fall. After her disasterous interviews with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric they sought to cast the blame on her handlers for not steering her toward more "conservative friendly" media outlets to introduce her to the nation. After going on CNN with D.L. Hughley and granting an interview with GQ magazine, neither of which are known for their conservative views nor constituency, I wonder which one of his media consultants Steele will be blaming shortly. One this is perfectly clear and that's that Steele won't be getting the same kind of pass that Palin got for her media failures.
