    I heard this on TPM's Day in 100 seconds. Isn't Barnicle a a Republican? Or is he a Reagan Democrat?

    You know its very hard to say. When he is on Morning Joe he usually carries the water for Republicans and honestly I saw it live this morning and nobody was more surprised than me when he said that to Fleischer. Don't get me wrong, it needed to be said. But I just didn't think he had it in him. I suspect he might have voted for Obama but he still comes off as a conservative most days.

    Last week he guest hosted Hard Ball and he was very hard on the Republican guests. I was a bit taken back. I just didn't think he had that in him, either. I was impressed.
