Yesterday I happened to be watching MSNBC when they cut to Claire McCaskill on the floor of the Senate talking about earmarks. Curiously when Senator McCaskill was just about to call out the Republicans for having their own earmarks in the omnibus bill Contessa Brewer and Carlos Watson cut away from her speech and instead tried to say she was just talking about the spending Republicans had talked about in the past. Mind you all day Contessa Brewer had been suggesting that President Obama should stop Congressional Democrats from including earmarks in the bill and trying to paint a picture that the earmarks were a Democrat problem. Well just in case there was anyone else out there watching, this is what Claire McCaskill really had to say.
