Amanda Carpenter Got Her Ass Handed To Her!
Damn I have been waiting for this to happen since about June of last year. Amanda Carpenter usually gets away with saying all kinds of bullshit and never gets called on it. Big ups to David Shuster for beating her about the head with the facts about the stimulus bill. He has definitely proved to be a better host than Stretch.

I'm learning to like Shuster more and more. His voice used to annoy me, a little -- it felt like he was always doing a (poor) Keith Olbermann imitation. But it seems like he's coming into his own on that show. And after scenes like this one with Carpenter, I agree, he's becoming worth watching.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I kinda felt the same way. Shuster was always good during the day, but whenever he guest hosted it seemed he wanted to try to morph into whichever host he was filling in for, usually KO. But during the day he was always one of the most fair and informed hosts on MSNBC and he didn't mind calling people out when they were lying. He PWNED Tucker Bounds several times before the election to the point where you could tell Tucker didn't really want to be on the show anymore. It seems like he has now found that same voice in his own show and I love that he now has hypocrisy watch. That will go a long way in exposing Republicans who talk out of both sides of their mouths and even some Dems too.
ReplyDeleteTucker Bounds could be pwned with a chocolate bar and a box of nylons; not really that hard for people who paid attention to the facts. Talking heads can be differentiated by those who do their homework and those who just want to be pretty on teevee.
ReplyDeleteYeah you have a point there but Shuster always seemed to be one of the ones who actually did some homework and thats why I like him. It doesn't hurt that he want right at Scarborough one day live on air too.
