Chris Matthews Is a Dick
So Tweety decides that he wants to talk about Jim Bunning blocking unemployment benefits for millions of Americans today. But instead of hitting Bunning for being an asshole, he invites on the Democratic nominee for Bunning's seat to bash HIM because the Democrats are being mean to Bunning.
No, I'm not kidding.
Its bad enough that Tweety ambushes the guy and acts like he is in the wrong because Democrats are exposing Bunning's hypocrisy, he also gets damn near every fact of the situation wrong proclaiming that Bunning wants to borrow from TARP to pay for the benefits when in point of fact Bunning is trying to kill the stimulus bill by borrowing from it. And of course Matthews TOTALLY forgot to mention that a few weeks ago when PAYGO was up for a vote, his baseball idol Bunning voted against it.
This kind of shit is beyond the pale and it would be helpful if people punished bad journalism like this rather than rewarded it with multi million dollar deals.
MSNBC and Chris Matthews should fucking apologize for such biased behavior.

This Muthafucka Right Here
I have made a decision. If you listen to Rush Limbaugh or support him in anyway I can't fuck with you. Yeah, I believe in free speech definitely but enough is a fucking nuff. If you think its cool that he can say this kind of bullshit or that its just all in fun, well you and I have too much of a different view of life and its not even worth dealing with you in any meaningful way to try to change your opinion. A line has to be drawn somewhere and dammit, Im drawing it!

More On Tom Coburn's Fuckery
Rachel Maddow hosted Congressman Joe Sestak, himself a veteran, to talk about the hypocritical asshole that is Tom Coburn. How do you even formulate an argument in your own mind to vote to fund wars putting our troops in harms way with out a way to pay for them and then turn around and put a hold on funding for those same troops' and their families' health care? What kind of self serving, egotistical, ungrateful asshole can pull that trick off and look themselves in the mirror everyday? This is a story that should be reported on, blogged about, and tweeted EVERY FUCKING DAY until this muthafucka stands down.

Tom Coburn Is A Fucking Disgrace
If GOP leaders have any sense, have any balls, have any fucking sense of decency, they will make Tom Coburn's bitch ass stand down and let President Obama sign into law a bill that provides better health care for our Veterans.
If not then Democrats had damn well better tear his ass up day after fucking day over this shit. And I don't mean in a political sense either. This is beyond ridiculous and shows an indifference, nay a contempt for the very people we ask, hell in some respects demand, to put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms.
Let me stop before I REALLY get pissed off!

Coonery For Me But Not For Thee
One thing about social media is that you find out pretty quickly that many times there are opinions, even within demographics which you identify with, that strongly diverge at times over things you might think have close to a consensus view. I for one have been a fan of Tyler Perry for a very long time. Certainly long before he started doing movie and was just doing plays. His material was always funny and over the top but at its root he always had positive messages in his work.
When he started doing movies and TV I liked some of his work and didn't care for other parts but I still recognized the messages he was trying to send. So much of his films are about wounded and "damaged" blacks and other minorities finding a way to make themselves whole again, usually with a touch of Christianity involved.
Now is that for everybody? I imagine not but I also don't think he makes movies for "everybody". Tyler Perry makes movies and TV shows for the people who will enjoy them and judging by his success so far that is a substantial number of people.
But there are a group of what I would describe as bourgeois ass black folks who seem to think that because Tyler Perry isn't making THEIR type of movie then he should be derided or torn down. That is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever seen and it burns me up to no end. Hell I don't like all of Michael Bey's movies. Does that mean I think he shouldn't be able to make them? But to hear these folks tell it Perry is "harming" the black community because he includes over the top characters like "Madea" in his projects. This shit would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. Its like they can't see past their own concern trolling to notice that "Madea" is just the honey to bring folks in before they get a good message from the rest of the show.
The latest clown, and I do mean clown, to trip on Perry is Spike Lee. Lee had the nerve to call what Perry is doing coonery, I guess he is now the voice of black upper crust or some shit. But its amazing that the same asshole that made "School Daze" and "Do The Right Thing" could accuse anybody on earth of coonery. Oh I guess we are supposed to forget about all those Jordan commercials too? Negro please. Girl 6? C'mon Son! Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.
The truth is, and I hope most folks can see this, that Lee is mad because Perry is getting shine that he thinks is reservered for "guys like him". I think Perry's response is absolutely perfect and I hope he has a face to face "conversation" with Lee real soon to see if he has the nuts to talk that coonery shit to the man's face. Somehow I doubt it.
By the way, somebody should tell Spike Lee that real coonery is running to the media to hate on another black man who is just trying to do their own thing. Seriously.

Hi Hater
Tavis Smiley, professional Obama playa hater, has finally severed ties with his financier pimp Wells Fargo after minority media outlets were provided proof that they had targeted minorities for high rate mortgages.
Yeah the same guy who has been riding President Obama's ass for supposedly not doing enough to help the black community or promising to do enough, was affirmatively aiding and abetting Wells Fargo to target that same community and drive minority mortgage holders off a financial cliff. What ever shred of relevance this clown had before all of this became public should be buried forever after this.
Smiley commented on his business partnership with Wells:Smiley said his relationship with Wells Fargo was a “package deal.” In return for the company helping to finance his radio show, he went on the road for Wells Fargo. He said he owns his own radio and television show and while it frees him from network control, it also requires him to come up with his own financing.
TWI reported that the seminars appeared on the surface as a way to help black borrowers build wealth — but they were actually just the opposite. A little-noticed explanation of the “Wealth Building” seminar strategy was contained in a lawsuit recently filed by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
According to the suit, Wells’ plan for the seminars all along was to target black borrowers for higher-cost subprime mortgages, not for wealth-building, the suit charged. And the seminars were a part of the bank’s overall illegal and discriminatory practice of steering black and Hispanic borrowers into riskier and more expensive loans, the suit said.
After TWI’s article on Thursday, The Root headlined a post: “Tavis, You Got Some ‘Splainin To Do.” Jack & Jill Politics ran a photograph of Smiley standing a podium during Smiley’s “State of the Black Union” event this year, surrounded by Wells Fargo logos, and offered this:He has never said jack about predatory lending, and now, we have an idea WHY.

The Mistake That Keeps On Giving
I can still vividly remember earlier this year when for about five seconds Joe LIEberman was on the hot seat. The members of the Democratic Caucus wanted to strip him of all of his chairmanships for his advocacy for John McCain in the Presidential race and because of the wildly inappropriate comments he made about then candidate Barack Obama at the Republican National Convention and beyond. But Joe LIEberman wasn't going to take this lying down. He threateded to bolt the caucus should he not retain his gavel. His demands were mostly met with a "good riddance" by the caucus and rank and file Democrats, especially liberals and progressives, because what he had done was so egregious that if losing him to the Republicans, who would never fully embrace him anyway, was a consequence of actually making an example out of him then it was really worth it.
But then like a knight in shining armor President Obama sent word down from on high that Harry Reid was to do "whatever it takes" to keep Joe LIEberman in the fold. I can still remember exactly the disgust I felt when I heard about that siutation. Once again Democrats had proven that they have no spines and no sense of party discipline. But some people were SO enamored of President Obama that they just felt like he must be pulling a Jedi mind trick. Despite all of he evidence to the contrary they tried to paint allowing LIEberman to give him his ass to kiss as being some type of great strategic victory.
Well over half a year after that debacle and LIEberman has proven time and again just how much of an asshole he still is and that he doesn't have even an inkling of respect for or deference to the man who allowed him to keep his gavels. From continuing to question President Obama's credentials on national security matters, to greatly watering down the stimulus bill, Joe LIEberman has been about as consistent a critic of the Obama administration and their agenda as many Republicans in the Senate. So it really should come to no surprise that he went on CNN this morning and tried to throw cold water all over health care reform.
I just want everyone out there who continues to try to make it seem as if President Obama can do no wrong or that he doesn't make any strategic mistakes to remember this clip every time you are about to express that opinion. I can guarantee that you will hear Joe Lieberman's words over and over again in the coming week while President Obama is out of town and on vacation which of course makes he timing by LIEberman even more appalling. But hey maybe its some great triple double reverse psychology by President Obama that makes it certain that health care reform will get passed this year. Right?

You Ain't Gonna Believe This Shit
Last week this asshole Republican Congressman Todd Tiahrt stood on the floor of the house and insinuated that President Obama and Justice Clarence Thomas, both black men and the only people he referred to, might have been aborted had there been tax payer funded abortions available to their mothers when they were concieved. It was a fucked up and reprehensible thing for anybody to say let alone a sitting Congressman.
Now you might think that the GOP establishment would try to distance themselves from Tiahart's remarks if not condemn them outright.
And you would be wrong.
Greg Sargent reports that the YouTube clip of Tiahrt giving the speech has now been posted up on the official GOP blog. But Sargent throws in this caveat.
The only problem with that is evidently there was an addition made to the blog entry after Greg linked to it.
You see you don't have to go out on a limb at all. They provided the whole fucking tree!!!
Please if you don't do anything else send the link to the GOP post around to your friends and family and especially friends of yours who are of color, and especially any who lean Republican.
I am just sick and tired of them getting away with this kind of bullshit. And for once I am even also pissed off for Clarence Thomas as well. As if only black women or single white women carrying the child of a black man would ever consider abortion. Sorry muthafucka, let me stop here before I blow a damn gasket!

Not to go too far out on a limb, but maybe this means the House GOP doesn’t see any need to distance itself from the remarks…
The only problem with that is evidently there was an addition made to the blog entry after Greg linked to it.
Tapper reported Rep. Todd Tiahrt's (KS) response to that possibility:...if you think of it in human terms, there is a financial incentive that will be put in place, paid for by tax dollars, that will encourage women who are single parents, living below the poverty level, to have the opportunity for a free abortion. If you take that scenario and apply it to many of the great minds we have today, who would we have been deprived of? Our president grew up in those similar circumstances. If that financial incentive was in place, is it possible that his mother may have taken advantage of it?
You see you don't have to go out on a limb at all. They provided the whole fucking tree!!!

A Truly Disgusting Human Being
I want you to think about something for a moment. Think about what Bill O'Reilly is saying about women. He is saying that he believes there are thousands of women who would seek to end their pregnancy in the last trimester on a whim or a lark. He is promoting a notion that there are countless women so cold hearted that they would have no qualms about going through that procedure simply because they "wanted to go to a concert". I don't have a problem with people being opposed to late term abortions, but to put the situation is such obviously ridiculous terms is just reprehensible. When his guest tries to correct him he immediately begins to talk over her. He doesn't want to know or even consider what the truth is. It couldn't be that these procedures are actually reserved for women whose lives are really in danger. No, not in his world. He is just all too happy to keep framing the debate in false terms to try to paint Dr. Tiller as a monster.
You see he isn't really upset that Dr. Tiller was murdered, he is just upset that people rightly leveled some blame at him for it. Bill O'Reilly is a coward of the highest order and we need to find a way to get his advertisers to pull away from him. This man doesn't deserve a second chance to try to get another doctor killed.

Criminal Negligence.
Today in an appearnce at the National Press Club, Dick Cheney was asked about the criticism leveled at him by Richard Clarke in an op ed published in the Washington Post yesterday. In typical Dick Cheney fashion he avoided answering the actual charges that Mr. Clarke laid out against him, and instead decided to try to lay blame for 9-11 at the feet of Mr. Clarke. Anybody paying attention wouldn't be suprised by Dick Cheney's dickish behavior, hey that's who he is. But unfortunately for him the record is clear, if there was anybody who failed America leading up to 9-11 it was he and his idiot partner in crime President Bush.
From ThinkProgress:
And that is why we should never EVER let assholes like Dick Cheney get away with acting as if 9-11 didn't happen on their watch or that they had no clue it was coming. The information was in front of them, Richard Clarke was practically begging them to act, but they did nothing and look where that got us. Everytime he invokes the memory of 9-11 there should be someone around to remind him that he and the rest of Bush Administration failed the American people.
From ThinkProgress:
In fact, it was Cheney who “missed” the warning signs, not Clarke. New York Times reporter Philip Shenon’s book, “The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation,” reprinted some of Clarke’s emphatic e-mails warning the Bush administration of the al Qaeda threat throughout 2001:“Bin Ladin Public Profile May Presage Attack” (May 3)
“Terrorist Groups Said Co-operating on US Hostage Plot” (May 23)
“Bin Ladin’s Networks’ Plans Advancing” (May 26)
“Bin Ladin Attacks May Be Imminent” (June 23)
“Bin Ladin and Associates Making Near-Term Threats” (June 25)
“Bin Ladin Planning High-Profile Attacks” (June 30)
“Planning for Bin Ladin Attacks Continues, Despite Delays” (July 2)
Similarly, Time Magazine reported in 2002 that Clarke had an extensive plan to “roll back” al Qaeda — a plan that languished for months, ignored by senior Bush officials:Clarke, using a Powerpoint presentation, outlined his thinking to Rice. … In fact, the heading on Slide 14 of the Powerpoint presentation reads, “Response to al Qaeda: Roll back.” … The proposals Clarke developed in the winter of 2000-01 were not given another hearing by top decision makers until late April, and then spent another four months making their laborious way through the bureaucracy before they were readied for approval by President Bush.
And that is why we should never EVER let assholes like Dick Cheney get away with acting as if 9-11 didn't happen on their watch or that they had no clue it was coming. The information was in front of them, Richard Clarke was practically begging them to act, but they did nothing and look where that got us. When Hate Speech Kills
Greg Sargent is reporting what many people had already guessed, that tonight Bill O'Reilly will address the murder of Dr. George Tiller along with the fac that many people feel he bears some responsibility in the crime. I have no doubt in my mind that Bill O will shirk any and all responsibility. That's what he does. He gins up the rage of his viewers and then when one of them acts he never wants to admit that he had something to do with it. Well Jed Lewison has put together a video with many of the attacks Bill O has lobbed at Dr. Tiller over the last several years. You can come to your own conclusion as to whether his kind of rhetoric might have sounded to Scott Roeder like O'Reilly was cheering him on.
