Where Is Your Outrage

I understand as a Christian that not all of us believe the same things and we definitely don't all practice the same politics. But at our core there should still be some things that bind us together. How the Religious Right can now turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to all of the exhortations of violence against President Obama through the use of a perversion of the Bible is beyond me. I had many many problems with George W. Bush. I wanted and still want him to be investigated and thrown in jail.



I have never and would never say anything that could be construed as advocating violence against him and I wouldn't sit by silently while someone around me did. I can only pray that none of the nutcases out there actually act on these dogwhistles, but if they do make any attempts whether successful or not, those Religious Righters are gonna have to look long and hard in the mirror.



I have a feeling that they won't like what they see...

  1. Yup. Same folks who crucified Jesus and tortured all the heretics they could find. They're not really "Christians" by most definitions of the word - I prefer to refer to them as "Old Testamentarians". They're Jews without the Judaic teachings. If Satan had a religion, that's what these guys would be part of.
