What The Fuck Was John McCain Thinking?

I am generally in the ignore Sarah Palin camp. I feel like she is a person whom isn't very bright and definitely isn't qualified to elected national office. It boggled my mind when John McCain selected her and by any objective measure she helped to insure that he did not win the presidency. I reallize that she appeals to some loons on the fringe of the fringe Republican Party but she isn't really to be taken seriously.

But now she has upped the ante and not only should she not be ignored, she should be pushed off the national stage forever behind this bullshit.

President Obama and Democrats in Congress are trying to solve problems and reform the health care system. In the meantime Congressional Republicans have just said no and tried to fearmonger and spread misinformation about those efforts. But Sarah Palin's new statement on the issue isn't just misleading, its also very dangerous.

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late.

Now what do you think that sounds like to one of those fucking wacked out ignorant assholes that call themselves Sarah Palin fans? It sounds like they need to act to save people's babies and grandparents. These are the same people who were probably high fiving each other when OB/GYN Dr George Tiller was killed by some scumbag who claimed to be "pro life" after he was demonized over and over by assholes like Bill O'Reilly. Someone needs to tell that fool that this isn't a game. When Sarah Palin makes these kinds of statements she is basically lighting a fuse to a powder keg. There is a reason hy President Obama has had so many threats to his life since she came on the scene last year. That is not a coincidence. But even members of her own party need to step up and demand that she retract this statement.

I had to read this 3 or 4 times just to believe somebody could be that frikking crazy to post something like this. But from all appearances it is a legitmate statement from Palin. And to think, John McCain thought a woman who could post such vile bullshit deserved to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

I hope nobody forgets that when election season comes around again.
