What's In A Word?

If that word is "empathy" then I guess there's a lot for misguided conservative wingnuts. However, thankfully for them, Slate's Dahlia Lithwick explains what empathy means with respect to choosing a Supreme Court justice. Unfortunately I doubt if they will take her word for it.
