This report from Greg Sargent just confirms yet again that the GOP simply doesn't understand the power of the internet. I know that for a very long time they got away with using out and out lies and propaganda to further their electoral ambitions but it is just too easy these days to find the truth online. And not only does that mean which ever ad they make based on false information isn't persuasive, it also continues to greatly damage their credibility at a time when they don't have much to spare.
Oh and one more thing, it is decidedly NOT a good idea to continue to use footage of a man paying tribute to one of his state's most beloved former politicians in such a vile and disengenuous manner.
I'm just sayin.
